Sleep number
So you can’t sleep so then you eventually do, but you are tired the next day. So how many times do you think of sleep that day – what is your sleep number? And on a day when you had a good night of sleep – what is your sleep number?
Do you think of sleep five times, ten or twenty. How does this match your hours of sleep? Does thinking of sleep too much make you anxious?
Instead of thinking of sleeping think of how to make your night run smooth so more sleep is possible. Cancel after work activities if you have to, get an easy dinner and do not take work home. If you don’t break the bad sleep cycle it will catch up on you and have negative consequences:
1. bad memory
2. poor concentration
3. loss of energy
4. emotionally unstable
5. The combination of the above four for too long can lead to chronic diseases.
