When holidays end and the late nights have to as well, it may take some strict action! Of course we all like to think we can do whatever we want (and holidays are great for this), but really if we want to feel good most of the time and participate in the world with ease, we can’t.
How to re-train your body for work/school:
1. Write yourself reminders.
2. Plan for the adjustment to be hard.
3. Remind yourself that the first few days will be the hardest and it is normal to feel rebellious.
4. Have your last day scheduled in detail so the bed time is controlled.
5. Remember you need to set a good example for your kids for when they need to head back to school!
