We often get stuck on certain thoughts and we cannot shift them and there are plenty of books out there telling us how to do it. I have found, through personal research and experience, that there are five main ways to combat negative and unwanted thoughts:
1. Just don’t think of it.
2. Are you happy anyway?
3. Are you loved?
4. You are human and not perfect.
5. It is what it is.
So, with these thoughts and the fact that you are doing your best, just get on with it and keep your head held high. Life has its challenges, but we can still treasure the wonderful things life brings.
