Well, what an inspiration: the Huffington Post and not to mention the founder Arianna Huffington. The Huffington Post was founded in May 2005. Arianna, is a Greek-American Author, and has had her fair share of political involvement, however, is most known for news website the Huffington Post. I have visited the Huffington Post website many times; I think it is a blogger must to visit the Huffington Post! http://www.huffingtonpost.com/
I recently saw an interview with Australia’s ABC journalist Kat Davidson and Arianna. I was extremely impressed with both of these inspirational women. I have seen Kat as a commentator at various comedy events and while she is at home in both roles, her interview with Arianna was remarkably impressive. The interview was addictive and about Arianna’s website success, her life at a glance and her latest book: ‘Thrive’ (2014).
Her book is screaming out that ‘our lives are not about our resumes, but are about cherished memories, shared adventures, small kindnesses and acts of generosity, lifelong passions, and the things that made us laugh.’ This is not a new idea, but what is new is the unique delivery of the idea and how honest and real and exhilarating it seems. Arianna said in the interview that she wished she knew years ago that she didn’t have to worry and could be happy and be void of the voice in her head! Arianna talks about coincidences and the topic that caught my eye – sleep! Arianna spoke about having dinner with a man who boasted about sleeping only four hours the night before. In Arianna’s jovial delivery she said the dinner would have been more enjoyable if he had of had five hours of sleep!
