New relationships can be exciting on so many levels and of course people celebrate their new beginning differently, but due to so many thoughts and questions and chatting and dates, tiredness can set-in.
Of course running a bit short on sleep for a few days here and there won’t hurt, but don’t let it get out of control, because being mentally alert is also important. Here are 3 ways to keep on top of things by using the tired factor to your advantage:
1.Try and keep the dates to the weekend: “I am looking forward to our date in 3 sleeps.”
2. Use the time issue to your advantage and show how considerate you are: “I know we both have to wake early tomorrow, so we better hang up and look forward to chatting tomorrow.”
3. It can be a way of letting the new person know what your life involves: “Can I call you before I go to my netball game, because after it I will be exhausted and ready for bed?”
4. Remember some times less is more so a goodnight text is nice too: “I would love to chat, but I need my sleep so I can appreciate your beautiful self tomorrow.”
