Sleeping in the rain
Sleeping in the rain can be so peaceful and calming. Open the window if you can and just listen to each drop.
I think it is a nice feeling because it is nice to not be getting wet, the noise is a nice rhythm to sleep to and often if it is raining, the air is cooler.
If you have a tin roof it may get really noisy at times – I hope you enjoy that.
I think it is also great to listen to the rain because rain brings so many benefits to society. It brightens up the grass and plants, cleans things, helps crops and fills up water tanks.
I hope you are not thinking about your washing, on the line, whilst it rains at night. Don’t let the clothes spoil your calm moment…the clothes will still be there…they will just be wet for a while.
If you are camping – the rain might spoil things a bit. Hopefully you have a tarp over the tent and your stay is still enjoyable.

I think that has already been done! I often see mattresses on the sides of roads – and I wonder about the journey the mattress has been on!! Thank you for your comment.Shaz
